Pretty much the defining Batman artist of my Batman-reading childhood. Shame he had to put up with so much drekky writing, although Pete Millgan's early 90s run was rather great, iirc. ("The Hungry Grass" was prety cool.)

The reveal of the Ayatollah as the Joker's new patron in Death In The Family is one of the all-time great WTFs of my comic-reading life, especially since I was, like 12, and just dimly aware of who the Ayatollah was.
