NOT talking about Wizard: The Guide to Comics, but a different monthly comix price guide. Would be in the mid-90s. More cheaply made; I think the first third of every issue was printed in color on glossy paper, but the rest of it (including the price guide part) was printed on b&w newsprint. I used to buy these at Kaybee Toy Stores. Anybody know what I'm talking about? What was the name of this publication? Thanx!

was looking for an article about Milestone comics I had read when I was a teen that made Blood Syndicate sound like one of the most mindblowing superhero comics of the 90s...of course I never followed up on it and checked any Blood Syndicate comix out...may correct that soon though...

Yeah, i had a bunch of blood syndicate... for some reason i bought long runs of milestone books from quarter bins: icon, statix, xombi, blood syndicate and the like. They were okay? I remember Icon being pretty good.
