SPOILER ALERT!
Garfield doesn't kill the mouse.

I used to read a couple of strips at the King Features site (posted online 2 weeks after print publication), but they went pay-only. What is this world coming to?

Truckdrivin' Buddha (Rock Hardy), Monday, 15 August 2005 14:19 (twenty years ago)

I get my kingfeatures fix (Bizarro, Edge City, Zippy) at sfgate.com now. Except for Mutts, which I prefer to read in B&W at the muttscomics.com site.

Well, apparently pissing and moaning about it on ILC lit a fire under their ass, cause I just caught up on three days worth of Non Sequitur, Doonesbury, etc.

Hey, and in "For Better or For Worse" Liz was nearly raped, and it looks like she's gonna bust up the marriage of the guy who saved her.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Monday, 15 August 2005 14:51 (twenty years ago)

HOLY CRAP!
Is Liz the youngest?

Huk-L (Huk-L), Monday, 15 August 2005 14:55 (twenty years ago)

THAT'S BECAUSE THERE'S SO MUCH GOOD IN YOU!

Huk-L (Huk-L), Monday, 15 August 2005 14:58 (twenty years ago)

No, April is the youngest - she's in High School I guess. Liz is the middle child and graduated from college a couple years ago. She's got some kind of summer job now, but was recently teaching elementary school in a tiny indian village way the hell north someplace.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Monday, 15 August 2005 14:59 (twenty years ago)

Heh - yeah, it's maudlin as hell and never EVER funny, but for some reason I keep reading it. The drawing isn't too bad, I guess, and I've been following these characters a loooooong time.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Monday, 15 August 2005 15:03 (twenty years ago)

Sure it's funny sometimes.

Leeeeeeee (Leee), Monday, 15 August 2005 17:21 (twenty years ago)

The Sunday strip is funny!

Huk-L (Huk-L), Monday, 15 August 2005 17:21 (twenty years ago)

I keep thinking the For Better or Worse characters are aging faster than real time. There's no way in hell April was born 14, 15 years ago. AND DON'T POST PROOF OTHERWISE, OKAY, I NEED MY DELUSIONS!

In other news, Brandy is down to her underwear and snuggling with Frank to keep him from dying of hypothermia. (Liberty Meadows) That Frank Cho and his love of bosoms, eh?

Truckdrivin' Buddha (Rock Hardy), Monday, 15 August 2005 18:05 (twenty years ago)

FBoFW is great, but since it's not on high5's aggregator, I don't read it.

Casuistry (Chris P), Monday, 15 August 2005 20:53 (twenty years ago)

To wit: For Better Or For Worse - C/D?
