My book in this month's PREVIEWS

I know, just what this world needs, another horror/western book. But what can I do? I've already written the damned thing and the first issue is done, so I should really see it through. To that end, it's featured in the latest Previews, page 325-326, in the Speakeasy Comics section. Just look for the lovely Steve Lieber drawing of a werewolf giving some poor clod the business.

If you go to http://highway62.blogspot.com/2005/08/today.html , you can see the cover and read the solicit without having to pay the four dollars, too.

If I sell enough of these, I might even have enough money to develop the pictures I took at SDCC...

Sweet. I'll pick up a copy if it makes it into Travelling Man.

Steve Lieber?
I'm there, dude!

two years pass...

Ha, only took me three years to get the book, though you'll note I was enthusiastic from the get-go!

anyway, Comics Should Be Good took even longer than me to read it: and here's what they think.

I think they sell the art short, there are quite a few fucking gorgeous pages, and hey? Am I the first to applaud the Willeford namecheck? When is Old West Frankenstein?

You are indeed the first, Dr. Superman. Though the original artist (whose pages will probably never see the light of day) did catch it too. But I'm not sure he counts.

There are some great pages, and there are some that I'm sure are too crowded. But I just can't hang with a three panel page for the most part.
