I like how the Spider-Woman revival has allowed artists of all stripes (Finch, Cho, Maleev, DeVito) to go gleefully over-the-top in their appreciation for foine venom-blasting chixors in spandex. Granted, drawing a hawt & fit zaftig chick is de rigueur for Cho, but, still.

Also: it's only a cover, so I wouldn't worry aboot AM jumping the shark (or whatever Rubicon artists / writers cross when they go from yay to ugh).

Hahahaha Nicole, you never read any of the Image books published by Wildstorm, did you? Fairchild of Gen13 and Sublime of The Deviants both put Spider-Woman to SHAME in the Ludatits category.

Having Humberto Ramos draw scenes about necrophilia & incest & stuff like that in an Image stylee, now that I think about it, is 13 types of WTF?!?!? It's not as WTF as Millar having Liefeld draw two Youngbloods getting their poles waxed by X-dudes in a hottub, but it's WTF enough for my tastes.

I think if any other artist had drawn Bendis' Daredevil run, I would have not enjoyed the book. To me that book was all Maleev.

That said. I don't like this drawing at all really. It doesn't really have anything of what I like about Maleev in it.
