The joke he told in Killing Joke was sorta funny.

The villains who crackwise are mostly in jail.

Or they're dead or now w/ the good guys.

I figured that in the Killing Joke he was just getting started which would explain any accidental funniness.

A guy walks into a talent agent's office...

But the joke, about the inmates escaping with a flashlight, wasn't part of his origin flashback.

DC's Jerry Lewis title (which began as Martin & Lewis) ran to 124 issues, and he frequently helped out DC's superheroes!

Anyway, to the original subquestion:

Riddler, Prankster, Toyman (???), Harlequin I through IV... doesn't Daredevil have a Joker-ish enemy who featured (and maybe even died?) in the Decalogue?

In an issue of Brave And The Bold, The Joker tried to eascape by jumping into a canal and swimming away. Only problem was, as he remembered too late, he couldn't swim.

Well, it made me laugh.

And no, I don't know which issue it was. Maybe a Creeper tean-up. Drawn by Jim Aparo, anyway, if that helps own :-)
