I haven't spoken to Frazer in months! Am I to be blamed for not getting these exciting hot scoops?

TINY FOOTPRINTS IN THE RED SKY!

God, please break my CAPS LOCK key.

Anyway, Joe Casey (the writer of the 6-ish mini Mr. Irving is working on) did right by Tincheeks in the Earth's Mightiest Heroes mini, and is a very vocal fan of the early Micheline (sic) / Layton days of the title, so I imagine it'll be something up that alley.

four months pass...
This is really good stuff! Ian can back me up on this (I hope)!

Why doesn't Casey get more love than he ought to?.
I mean...he's a flawed writer, sometimes his ideas are too much for his execution, but he has produced some quality work (Intimates up to number 8, Cable, Wildcats 3.0, Mr. Majestic) and he seems like a writer ILC would like. He always thinks about the medium and what he wants to achieve and even if his ideas are flawed or not so good as the proposal, at least he's trying something new.

Besides his Mr. Majestic is pure Superman-in-the-sixties love, way before ASS (not to diminish Morrison's approach).

It's pretty good! Certainly better than Ultimate Iron Man was.

Bob Layton doesn't agree.
