I have no idea!

Batman: Room Full of Strangers is really good. That's the extent of my knowledge.

Oh, wait - I read (& enjoyed) bits of Soulwind, and there was some jam comic he did w/ Jim Mahfood that was OK, too. And I have heard undying praise for his most recent stuff.

Leeeee, get over here, son!

David R. (popshots75`), Thursday, 8 September 2005 19:28 (nineteen years ago)

He's got recent stuff?

Soulwind is just so blessedly weird in places -- lot of great incorporation of Celtic myth -- and in one issue he busts McKean-style art while maintaining his own style. Hot!

Volcanic Revolver is probably my favorite thing of his: it's a short mafia story, and thinking about it, it's the only mafia story in any medium that I like. (Take that, Francis Ford.)

Search also the first three (of four) issues of his Elektra: Echo & Glimpse or something, which for one issue, is the best Elektra anyone has ever written.

Oh and he's doing the art for a story about Mt. Everest, with this guy, Rucka. (Which will probably be released in 2007.)

Is that Whiteout, Leee? That's not out yet?

what is this twitching in my pants?

OK, I'm going to the Bend!s board now.

David R. (popshots75`), Thursday, 8 September 2005 19:53 (nineteen years ago)

Tell him I say hi.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Thursday, 8 September 2005 19:54 (nineteen years ago)

Whiteout is set in Antarctica, and Steve Lieber draws that. The Everest thing is simply called Everest.

And Huk, get ready for a major softoff, because Everest has been in various stages of production since 2004, I think, since I remember a few preview pages of it were in the Free Comics Day Oni sampler from 2004.

Back to Morse, what I forgot to mention: he's great dialogue, wonderful ear for accents and dialects.
