I tried DC++ and couldn't make any sense of it. Maybe I should have read a faq or something.

All I did, IIRC: search for comic hubs, double click on one to get in (& adjust settings so they'd allow me in - what I share, how many share slots I have open, etc.), search in that hub for something or other, find a user, D/L that user's list o' stuff, and go to work.
