This isn't a question because I think I already know the answer:
It's because men have lower standards than women.

If a woman sleeps with X=(large number) of men then, because men are generally pretty easy, it's no big deal. Most women could sleep with any number of men if hey weren't picky.
But if a man sleep with X women then that _is_ an achievement, because women have higher standards, so sleeping with X many of them is good going.
