Okay, let me amend that. It's the thing to do if you want to have dogs and/or kids. They both need lots of space. And the equity thing can really be awesome if you wind up selling - but it has to be the right time.

We made a decent amount of money selling our first house, and thankfully we can stay in this house forever if we have to.

Caledonia and John are buying here at the perfect time for people in their situation.
