The same kind of comics featuring Joe Carioca, as he is called there, appear occasionally in the Dutch Donald Duck magazine. Here he lives on a big landfill in Brazil along with the same Nestor (an anthropomorphized vulture) and Pedrão (anthropomorphized dog), along with new other character: his nephews Zico and Zeca (also parrots), his girlfriend Rosinha (an anthropomorphized bird), daughter of a very rich entrepreneur, and his rival Zé Galo (anthropomorphized rooster). Zé fills his time with assuming false identities to impress girls (who at the end of the comic always see through the fake identity and leave Joe with a broken heart) and get free dinners in expensive restaurants. This habit often gets him into trouble.

He lives in Mexico and rides on a horse called Señor Martinez.

Donald Duck is an animated cartoon and comic-book character from Walt Disney Productions. Donald is a white anthropomorphic duck with yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. He usually wears a sailor shirt, cap, and a red or black bowtie — but no pants (except when he goes swimming, ironically).

According to the cartoon Donald Gets Drafted (1942), Donald's full name is Donald Fauntleroy Duck

That's actually referring to José Carioca, not Zé Galo (Zé being a diminuitive of José, too.) Zé Galo is evil yuppie rooster scum and it pains me to see you guys mistakenly big him up :(
