Sort of a downer review, but if you haven't read it you should, it's the real stuff. The original had a cover that unfolded like a brief, contents within. I disagree with the article writer, I think the story was pretty interesting, a lot of characters, like doors left unopened but not unnoticed.

I enjoyed it a lot myself, but I do somewhat agree, it's hard for me to imagine anyone besides a hardcore fan of the show enjoying it, since the narrative is pretty thin.

I loved it. I think the issue with the review is that they approach it as a graphic novel, and while it's sold as such, I don't really think it is one (although I loathe the term graphic novel, as if it makes often-ignored comics more respectable or marketable). Like the show itself it takes a completely different approach to narrative and that's part of why I enjoy it so much.
