I think Trevor is kind of suave.

Chung the creator of AF, stated he didn't believe people were intrinsically good or evil. His characters are complex and difficult to discern their natures, as far as I'm concerned.

usually more Aeon than Trevor, though.

Aeon Flux is a multifaceted character too, but not quite to the extent that Trevor Goodchild is. The best aspect of her character is her fierce individuality and willpower, which creates an extremely compelling character dynamic and conflict with that of Trevor. Really, Aeon's character wouldn't be half as engrossing if Trevor weren't such an effective foil. And although Aeon shows moments of conflict, she doesn't seem to have nearly the range or ambition of Trevor.
Despite what a lot of people I know think of Aeon Flux, I personally think Trevor is easily one of the best characters to come out of modern pop-culture science fiction. As an English major and an avid reader of literature, I have yet to come across many characters as complex as Trevor Goodchild, and the more I analyze him and his actions the more potential I see.

I think Trevor is sublime - he's certainly my favourite.

1. (Deuteronopia) Like both. Trevor's crazy blue dress thingy is very sweet. I also like it when he takes off his robe and impresses all the folks with his big dong... and then immediately after that to foil the newslady's attempt to assassinate him. Also his little truth and justice speech at the beginning got me hooked right then.
2. (Bird people) Trevor is an ass. Aeon is whatever.
3. (Cybil) Trevor is a pervert and a cruel dictator but I still liked him. Aeon was definitely the one who was "right" in that episode.
4. (Cloned Aeon) I identified with Trevor at the time, but looking back I can see where Aeon was coming from. Trevor was really belittling her toward the end. Which is really too bad for him... he could have had it all. I felt pretty bad for him when Aeon 1 got gunned down. But now I think he sort of brought it on himself.
5. Like Trevor WAYYYY better. Aeon is a total bitch for trying to fuck with the demiurge. Damnit Aeon, the demiurge is good, sez I.
7. (Chronophasia) Love them both to pieces in this episode. Wouldn't change a thing. Maybe love Aeon a little more in this episode because Trevor isn't very central. But when he's on screen, he rules hardcore. "It's clear to me now, Aeon, madness is the way! ... Exposed, yes! .. We were never here to begin with! We were always here!! Always will be here!!!"
9. (The purge) I love them both so much in this episode, but Trevor is so awesome that it makes my eyes bleed to watch him. Sitting in his little chair working on his gadgets in his tiny short shorts and meanwhile about ten steps ahead of Aeon while she is at the cabbage bank? The scene where he downs Bambara with poison darts single-handedly? That crazy alcoholic cactus? His little blonde daughters? He's too cool for the world in that episode. Aeon is cool too but she's runner up for the cool prize by a mile in that episode.
10. Aeon sure was dumb for destroying the human race and everything... Obviously Trevor was better in it that Aeon. I didn't like this episode so good. How did the radiation instantly affect the aliens who lived light years away?
