Hey, has anyone seen the new gallery at aeonflux.com? It's great -- I'm finally starting to see Charlize as Aeon, she definitely looks like her. Trevor, of course, looks great. The costumes look interesting, too. And coolest of all, I noticed that they ARE giving Sithandra/Scaphandra hands for feet. As for the comic sample, the art is very interesting... the artist seems familiar to me, but I can't be sure who it is.

I like how it's captioned "Peter Chung's adult entertainment hits Hollywood"--kinda makes it sound like a porn.
What a great interview though. It has me looking forward to this movie more and more no matter how pessimisticly set the back of my mind seems to be.
I especially like this paraghaph:
"What Peter did with that show," Manfredi says, "and what he did with his animation was so unique that, in a sense, there was no way to make that into a live-action film. And so our goal, the whole time, was to make something that stands beside it, as a companion. The two visions complement each other."
It's very nice to see clips and references to the series within the whole movie hype. Very reassurring that there's a connection which refuses to be lost.
The way they cut between the animation and the live action clips kind of made me chuckle though--it just looks so "acted"--I don't know how else to put it. But dynamically I know that I should not be comparing the 2. I look forward to the movie and even more-so, the DVD release of the series.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of their mixing of the live action and animation... they really do belong to different worlds aesthetically. But that clip on the gallery page does help to bridge the gap a little, showing us that the spirit is trying to be the same.

Umm... you guys do know that wasn't "live" action, right. It's actually all CGI and it's for the video game that's coming out, not a clip from the movie.
Speaking of which, where is the movie trailer? The release date is about 2 months away....

L Leedy, we're referring to the updated gallery on the aeonflux.com website, not the video game trailer.
