From an interview with Charlize Theron (

"Q: Do you feel that [this incarnation of "Aeon Flux] really does the show justice?
CT:[note: abridged response]I think - I really truly feel - that people who do love the [original] show will not be disappointed. For [creator of the original "Aeon Flux" cartoon] Peter Chung to come on the set and feel the same way, I think is a huge validation for fans of the show."
Since I know you post here sometimes, Peter, I'd like to know if this is an accurate description of your opinion on the film.
On another note entirely but from the same site, go here:

At the bottom are new stills from the film which show Aeon and Trevor interacting in a way remeniscent of how they acted together in the long episodes of the original Aeon Flux. I though fans of the old series might be interested, at least they're being faithful in that regard.

I haven't yet seen the film, so I can't offer an opinion on it.
However, I don't think it's an accurate description of my opinion of fans of the show. I think viewers will make up their own minds, regardless of whether I visited the set or not.

Not only THAT, but there could have been a time already by now we could have said (a'la David Lynch in the strange "non-case" of "Dino's DUNE"?) that it's, say, okay something like it were "The only movie we never got to see that we never bothered to make" - there are other variations - but to my knowledge I'm still the only one who even tried to try that fkn tactic, yet, and if it ain't too late by now for that one already then it is anyway by now. I have been known to attempt, that is, the "I haven't seen it yet" number. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!! Anyhow, well, no because of course I saw the friggin movie! (ampersand, No: No, I did not miss the movie because I fell asleep, either - I LIED, OKAAAAY?)
Am I therefore and catagorically FULL OF SHIT, NOW? NO!! And with that, I'm about to tell you therefore something else, instead and that's that - what the fuck do I know, okay, there, but I'll start with somebody's recent observation to my kid sister Pammy that (2) There is Pretty and there is Sexy; Sexy isn't always pretty; and, (1) How Pretty was AEON (if never so Prim so Presentable et cetera) FLUX as Charleze! (Can I get away with that? I never said that, remem, ber, now, cuz but that because just somebody else did. Do I I mean dont even THINK that next thing ya no that even fkn Tyra knew that one already but knows better than to SAY ANYTHING pretty soon ya draw distinctions between things like Entertainment and Art; Movie and Film; Democracies with Republics, or even (try) Celebrity with Fame...you can take my word anyway for all of it it's dicey dicey-doo or fkn 23Skid00 I swear to shit...
But look can you give me a just a minute now, we just got back from L.A. here be right back okay because I also have some criticisms of my own, as well. (For wtf.)
(As Lenny Bruce might have said about somebody: "Don't worry; YOU KNOW....)
