And yet, that might be the best and most accurate recap of the series I have ever seen. (Compared to any other publications that have tried.)

Lol! That was cute! I actually read it twice it was so good.

Nice to see Aeon wearing her old doo-even if she does appear in stickfigure fashion.

Aeon didn't exactly linger mournfully over the carnage. If it weren't for the *artist* perhaps we'd never would either. Good point made by this guy Russell. I wonder if the movie will display any of that sentiment.

"Howdy do"?! Hehe. Also, I see they're already picking at the new dialogue changes...

Peter, it must be an odd feeling to see your own character redrawn and commented on in this way... then again, I suppose that was what happened even as you were producing the third season?

Under "Want to tell Filthy something"...

"I am not a real critic. I have no special qualifications that make my opinions good enough to bolster your arguments, or that are worth getting all huffy about if you disagree.
Your opinions are just as good, it's just that I have a web site".

Well after this little confession, I decided not to write the esteemed Mr. Filthy, he has his own problems. Getting a skill challenged career off the ground with only lower brow readers to aim at. There are not many of these that went to see Aeon Flux and so not wanting to depress the man I fell silent.

I should clarify.
This link was sent to me by an old art school chum with whom I have an on-off, love-hate rivalry in things rhetorical. (religion and politics with debates on art thrown in) I think the gesture was meant as much for consolation as a bit of back handed ribbing. The consolation part is that, compared to "this guy" (Mr. Filthy), all the other negative reviews maybe aren't so bad.

Peter Chung, Thursday, 8 December 2005 04:09 (twenty years ago)

Still, I don't think that you should take any negative reviews personally, as you really had nothing to do with the making of the film. While I found the film to be a bit pedestrian and not at all like the animated series, it's definitly not a "bad" film as mainstream entertainment goes
