seriously, i grew up around this, in this, and am feeling again sad about extensive logging and dams in BC and elsewhere, as in, my mind is somewhat blown by the conservative rhetoric of short-term plunder for acknowledged! non-scientifically-backed short-term gain. am working on it.
going to a farm tomorrow!

i am conflicted, no, made to grit by teeth by so many too-beautiful photos of b.c. all over the internet. none of them are right. i would think this is the same all over re: the perfect photographs of the places we know.

two weeks pass...

∞∞∞∞

one of the greatest thing is when you go cycling at night, especially in summer when it is late out until very light, and everything just drifts by you and the sun sets so slowly

I don't have a picture to specifically illustrate this

when it is late out until very light

is a beautiful phrase, however unintentional

biking around in summer is key to understanding that we are the cosmos we are the wind, it's true, and we are so free

This is thy hour O Soul, thy free flight into the wordless,
Away from books, away from art, the day erased, the lesson
done,
Thee fully forth emerging, silent, gazing, pondering the
themes thou lovest best,
Night, sleep, death and the stars.

I read somewhere that Keats talked about certain lines exuding light. that one definitely does
first photo is so great
i guess we are at the date when latest until light
i don't bike, but i like to stay up late because everything else stfu's and crucial things come into clearer view
