Naaah, [ban me], I have loads of African friends, a few of which are Eritrean and Ethiopian (I worked on a black British magazine for most of this year and if in doubt, asked someone who'd KNOW). But the classic one, as Mr Sinker will appreciate is all the people who call the Nigerian NME writer Dele Fuh-delly instead of the correct way, which is Fah-DELL-ay.
