that's a good one

the disc that has both Half Machine Lip Moves / Alien Soundtracks, that's pretty much supposed to be the best one

their tracks on the Subterranean Modern compilation are amazing too. and that's all I own actually, though I hear there's other great moments in the 78 - 82 run

there is a cheap-ish 3xCD boxset available, i see it used all the time. it contains the first 4 LPs plus a singles/rarities comp.

Does anyone rate The Visitation?
Pre-Creed Chrome, wank-ass San Fran acid guitar leads, flatly howled lead vocals...but I really like the songs. It was my favorite before I found a copy of Half Machine Lip Moves. It's been buried in history, jusitifiably, according to some. I don't listen to it much anymore.
