Motorhead's "Emergency" is the only one I can clearly remember - great air raid sirens at the start of the record and people looking around going "WTF is that?!". It was one of those old 45 jukeboxes and had some weird stuff. Someone once put Van Halen's "Jump" on five times in a row and cleared the place out. Also one time somebody selected some dreadful Brian May song, and the quiet young guy who used to sweep up started freaking out, jumping all over the place, playing air guitar. Then the song finished and he just picked up his broom and went back to sweeping.

there was a diner in danbury we would go to years ago and every table had a little jukebox and they had jive bunny's "in the mood" on it and if you played it the song STUCK. an endless loop of jive bunny. so cool. we always played it. very annoying. also, prince b-sides were the best played loud at our table. they often sounded nothing like the hit on the a-side.

I am a jukebox abuser. I pay for like 10 songs + all of Purple Rain.

Two songs I always played in my local pub when I stayed in the West End of Glasgow (as in every time I was in it):

"Fire" by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown
"Ben" by Michael Jackson

In London I always used to play this when the weather was shitty:

"Hot Fun in the Summertime" by Sly & the Family Stone

I can't remember the last time I played a song on a jukebox though :(

a friend of mine was always keeping tabs on estate sales and whatnot and ended up buying an old timey 50 45s/100 songs jukebox for a song and put it in his dining room, and it's just so much better than the aux cable, in every way

also a great excuse to go to the record store and sort through the 45s
