When my dad had his car accident, he was prescribed three months of Vicodin. He decided the pain wasn't that bad, and that he would tough it out rather than get addicted. I told him he should keep it in case he had some bad pain sometime. Well, a couple of days later, I asked him if he still had the Vicodin, and he said he 'got rid of it'. And he'd been joking about selling it in the K-Mart parking lot, so I didn't ask what he'd done with it. I wonder how much it goes for on the street.

He should have given it to me! I had to take it when I cracked my ribs a few years ago. Made me feel like I was floating on a cloud. Thankfully, the dr only prescribed about two weeks' worth.

I just took half of one today! as a matter of fact.

No real reason, either. I had taken a half of one on New Year's Eve, and then I stuck the other half in that little 'change/ penny pocket' thing in my pair of Levi's. So today I'm at the bar watching football, rooting in vain for the Bills, and I reach down and realize I have this other half of a Vic in my jeans. So i popped it, for no particular reason at all except that it was there.

Can't believe the Bills blew it against Tommy Maddox.
