they did put out a shotmaker discography... but i think it was of poor recording quality... of course, so were their records if i remember correctly. :)
can't improve on bad originals.
t'man did a decent job of putting out reissuing a lot of things that i thought were better than your average ebullition/victory hardcore... like nuzzle and fisticuffs bluff ... both of those bands were amazing back in the '95. if gygax has 92, i bet i have 95.
not so hardcore related, tangentally, dead hills i still really like. and pixeltan. and those early black dice records had some definite high spots.
but yeah... uh... that doesn't apologize for a lot of the weak.m.

I interviewed Karl back in the day and asked if his loved ones who smoked, drank, and ate meat would be first to go. Anyway though those first few EPs are great.
I have a feeling Troubleman will be putting out some really awesome stuff this year. Just a good feeling.

glass candy: is the worst. c'mon it's a big joke right????...right?
mix tape: so much garbage on there...would've made a sweet 10"
harriet the spy: that was a pretty great record, short and sweet. I think they went on to be party of helicopters?? or something...they were pretty awful.
wolf eyes: not a fan of that picture disc...sold it.
NOBODY FINDS THE NEW NOIZE DIRECTION QUESTIONABLE?
luttenbachers: love those guys, I forgot about them!! they arent really a TRBLMAN band...i guess trblman offered more money/better distribution? than skin graft?
I also forgot about the first songs of zarathustra record which had some pretty radical songs on it!

party of helicopters had good stuff here and there. the singer was something i never got, but the rest of the band was shredders. another t'man thing that was good... red scare and thumbnail stuff... good 90s hardcore t'man reissued a lot of. i was happy about that because in mid-90s, all my music went away. so i was happy to get the fisticuffs for example. summer mastous could wail the wallpaper off.
yeah, the production probably sucked. that mixtape especially. they even redid it.
"NOBODY FINDS THE NEW NOIZE DIRECTION QUESTIONABLE?" describe. i actually haven't bought a real noise record in a while i think. maybe. i have seen live stuff and got some live stuff from the interschwingle, but that's about it. lately i've needed more than fuzz on a recording unfortunately.
glass candy i liked because i liked get hustle and love life... and they all seemed to fit... just like the slaves... i was big into that post-gravity gsl theatrics scene in the 99-00 for sure. girl from glass candy played in nothin but panty hose here in nashville. and she is stupid hot. i know that's a completely unacceptable reason to like a band, and i wasn't even at the show, but...
i'm silly like that.

i'd also say as much as i loved earth the first time around, i wish there wasn't a second time. i blame those fucks at Southern Lord and No Quarter for digging Dylan back up from the grave -- though i think part of the problem is that Dylan isn't just doing what he was doing but almost trying to fit it into SUNN 0)))'s (and others') cartoon version of his previous work.
that said, SUNN 0))) is such a freaking bore. wake me up when their record is over.*
