on the machines i found this just calls up drink counts
holding down 4 gives you "COUNTERS RESET"
holding down 1 seems to restore them
holding down 5+ seems to exit
2-3 seem to pause on a beverage and/or toggle between global count and per item count

you used to able to spray salt water (from a gatorade bottle) into coke machines and it spit out tons of sodas!

also there was the magic dollar (clear tape the length of the dollar), which was the JAM when i was 15 at the skatepark!

we used to stick our arms up old dr. pepper machines and liberate chips and drinks. it was often canluck tho... canada dry diet, fanta, etc etc...

I did the salt water thing once on a field trip and gave everyone on the bus free coke. The machine kept shocking us as we pushed the buttons though.

i saw on some page people were talking about using the menu to make the machines not work right and then getting people to put money in and have the machine steal it

then you go back and get it out of the menu and eject their moneys

I havent tried it in forever, but i think the cola companies got wise.

the best results came from clear packing tape, sort of wide. then at the very edge of the dollar (the border, where the ink meets the paper), apply the tape about 6 or so inches in the length on both sides as wide as the dollar.

insert dollar into machine, then pull her out.

definitely clear packing tape is the way to go. you'll probably need a few trial runs to perfect your technique, too.

ahh, hm. But you can't go past the border?

does that really hold well enough?

I've also heard that you just need a longer bit of tape to work with newer machines (that's why they have those little feeder things that stick out now, to make the old technique not work or something?)
