Yeah, this is great. I love anything with Kurihara on it tho. I'm a total fanboy.

I still haven't tracked down that first Marble Sheep record. I ALMOST bought a vinyl boot of the Alchemy original from Stan Denski for like $50 a few years ago, back when I was sick in the head. I still want to hear that thing.

Scott do yoo haf 'Whirl Live'? No Kurihara but similar sonic rumble-scrape as 'Old from New Heads'.

Ah, I didn't know Kurihara was in Marble Sheep! His playing on the last Ghost album is heroic.

no, i don't have that, stormy. i will have to get it. that live cement woman on the old from new heads disc just might be the reason i am alive on earth. i think god created it for me to hear.

Yeah Tim I think he was only in the group at the beginning though. the Amon Duul mode. He skedaddled before they went into Dead-worship mode.

My friend Rob did his discography! It's pretty complete, I think:

I'll burn you a copy of the 'Whirl Live' if I can get a copy of that electro mixtape, Skot!

God, looking at that again I'm reminded of the Ha-Za-Ma stuff too. that first Ha-Za-Ma record is amazing.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 13 January 2005 18:23 (twenty years ago)

really, you want an electro mixtape? i could make you one. i forget who wanted one in the first place. i'll let you know when i've made it.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 13 January 2005 19:14 (twenty years ago)

well, I was just referring to that thing you wrote up on your blog; that sounded great! no need to go to any extra trouble or anything.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 13 January 2005 19:43 (twenty years ago)

Oh that! Yeah, that one is pretty good. I could probably make a better one though.
