however, to promote the release of the Akai MPC1000, they had a series called Kits of the Week which you can still get on the Akai site, if not the hollow sun site. If you have the MPC, then you get the sounds and the programs(mapping the sounds to pads) but if not, you just get the sounds. Which is fine.

Pretty thorough! The Acetone not only comes with the sounds and programs, but the actual preset loops for the MPC, so you can get the exact rhythms used by Crispy Ambulance on the song the Presence and I think maybe Blondie's Heart of Glass.
