Just heard the original by Lightening Bolt and there are harmonies between guitars - had Matt and Chris both been playing they would have played the harmonies.

Question wieeeerd riff
i am trying to find out if anyone else has or has heard the same clip of muse live introducing a riff as something like 'LBG' with a bit of tuning up or something and then letting rip. i ask because it's the best riff i've ever heard and i have no idea if tis them fooling around or a cover...oh and halfway the guitar turns into an appregiating monster...it's amazing...so err..yeah any ideas either what it is or where it was played??

cheers.

well, i could sing a muse song either... if LB covered the muse, i'd be clueless.

i'm thinking i saw them on letterman in passing tho. maybe. totally shit corpo rock? (with an EDGE?)

i was dying when somebody actually posted guitar TABS... i thought, "who does that?!?" but evidentally, these guys do that.

apparantly the intro to the 20th earls court gig that dom & chris played was a cover of some skronk lol. apparantly its supposed to be like insane punk, earlier before i read that interview me and my friend were finding it hard to put our group of friends into a social category cos we just didnt fit anywhere, but have since decided we're skronk ;) we re-named our band to skronk too. how ace!

lmao this stuff is proper mental, its like, just lmao I can imagine what we're thinking would be similar to what first time/non muse fans would be thinking if they heard 'Execution Commentary' before they had heard anything else by Muse

personally, I think this is pretty infectious lol

website http://laserbeast.com/

there's only two of them, that's proper mint, hmm I'm a fan after just knowing there's two of them, he does guitar with his mouth lmao mint

INTERVIEWER: And finally what can people expect musically from the
performance that they are about to hear very shortly?

DOM: It's gonna be a big rocking set, with one or two new songs thrown in.

MATT: Check out the lightning bolt cover song. It's a new style of
music coming out of weird abandoned art galleries in Boston, called Skronk music which is like insane punk, simplistic sort of gamma metal. Dom and Chris are gonna do a cover at the beginning of the gig tonight, of one of the bands that does that.

msp (msp), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 18:19 (twenty years ago)

YO, LETS ABANDON THIS ART GALLERY.
