Eat a triple covered, triple smothered hash brown and drink some hot chocolate

Drive home in the rain, sick-full and still wasted, and fall asleep with our shoes on

- took a cab back down to the Velvet Lounge hoping to catch some of the Rez Abbasi set. Alas, I only got to hear their truncated third set, and it wasn't all that good. BUT, then this woman came by with a video of an amazing Ed Wilkerson-Vincent Davis-Harrison Bankhead performance, so we all stayed in the bar drinking and flipping out over that.

- came home, drank, listened to "Blues Before Sunrise" on public radio until 5 AM

Cutty do you live in SF? Did you also go to the Haters show?

It was pretty fun. The theme according to the curators was "old school noise", and sure enough, that's what the audience wuz too: people dressed in black, jack boots, shaved heads, the whole deal. Big City Orchestra folks were there. The Haters were loud as all hell. Chop Shop did cool multi-speaker things, including setting up a special third speaker inside this weird huge hunk of steel that seemed to be acting as both a speaker cone and a kind of physical filter on the noise. Loud loud loud.
