It's called "A Long, Losing Battle With Eloquence And Intimance" and it's on Ecstatic Yod (cover art by Kim G) and it's really, really great! If it weren't for this album and the new Howling Hex, I'd have been in a bad mood all weekend.

i am plannin on getting a copy of this from eclipse when ed's got it in stock. too bad, there's so much shit i want to order now and can't afford (new tower recordings, holy modal rounders reissue, skygreen leopards LP on jagjaguar, dredd foole, ccarter/lmconnors collab... SO MANY RECORDS!)

you need all of those except Holy Modal Rounders - I mean, I like them and all, but how much Peter Stampfel can you really take in one sitting dude?

Oh, and you really need the new Howling Hex.

the new Dredd Foole is basically just him and a guitar - sounds like live to tape to me - just really fucked up stumbling acoustic blues - like a lot of his other stuff but less cluttered, more Dredd in the raw, ya know? Think Space Chanteys, I guess...
