T/S: toolbars vs. infinite height menus

It seems like most of the functionality in applications that I use is in the toolbar 90% of the time or I use a shortcut key for.

IS THE INFINITE HEIGHT MENU TOTALLY MAC OS 7?

That said, if I had amateurist's computer and was running at 320x240, I would disable toolbars and use INFINITE HEIGHT MENUS.
