The show with the mannequin was called Today's Special... one of my favorite early Nick shows. It was a mix of human characters (Jeff the mannequin and Jody) and puppets (Sam, a night watchman or something I think, and Muffy, a mouse who spoke in rhyme). Jeff came to life as long as wore his magic hat and someone said "hocus pocus alimagocus," but if the hat came off he would freeze again. Also I don't think he could leave the store he lived in. I don't remember a whole lot about this show, but certain random scenes still stick in my head to this day... such as Sam singing "I dream of Jeannie with the light brown hair" and then changing the words to "mustache" instead of "hair." And something about someone stealing donuts happened on one episode too I think.
