Wha-ha-ha

Wha-ha-ha were a Japanese band in the early 80s playing new wave influenced prog. Their records have recently been reissued in Japan, and you can get them at Forced Exposure. I got the first in the mail yesterday. Sometimes the keyboards can be a little cheesy, but very fun in general. For fans of Demi Semi Quaver, the first Phew solo record, After Dinner (though they're not as experimental). (milton, Kiyohiko Senba played percussion.)

I hate you (I ordered my copies from Forced Exposure two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it to arrive)

Does the second CD have anything from their remix 12" as bonus tracks? The Recommended vinyl album was a compilation of all three of those releases.

Also hoping this means the Haniwa All Stars are next up. Henry Kaiser offered to loan me his laserdisc of 'In Concert' and I don't know what I'm waiting for.

wow, there's finally a little more online about Haniwa All Stars... for years there's been close to nothing

one of my favorite albums of all time here: http://www.geocities.jp/go4block/yori/discog/28AH1557.html

a better translation for track 9 is 'At Last I Love You'

three weeks pass...
so much stuff to hear:

http://cgi01.warabi.ne.jp/%7Edaphnia-pulex/works/works.cgi?mode=english

first album title translates to "We'll Die Alone"
second to "Seems I Got To Wear Clogs"

the "live-dub" ep was not included as bonus tracks on either CD, but don't let that stop you from buying them

milton parker (Jon L), Wednesday, 4 May 2005 04:22 (twenty years ago)

I'm sorry first album title translates to "We'll Die Apart"
