the only tibetan music worth listening to is pavement's set from the tibetan freedom concert where they do 'hit the plane down' in a different octave it's amazing unfortunately the temperature was a chilly 58 degrees which led to shivers amongst the band members you can hear a slight vibrato in malkmus' voice due to the cold and the guitar solos are a little off as a result perhaps this is most noticeable in the context of the eight shows surrounding that date on the tour i only have a vague idea of the mood of that tour as i was at seven and a half of those shows i had to miss half of one of the shows due to some poisoning that i got from some bad Okonomiyaki
