We bought almost every Rough Guide CD, so I am working my way through them - there's a Central European one that I'm liking a whole lot.

DDB HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE "NIGHT LIFE"??? WHAT IS YOUR DAMAGE DOOD??

But it's cool that you got Leeway on there!! I'd kinda like to hear them again. I once lived with this dude from NYC who was way into B-generation NYHC and turned me onto a buncha crap like Sheer Terror and Norman Bates and the Showerheads. I still remember how totally psyched he was when Leeway's Desperate Measures came out ... duder played that thing CONSTANTLY. I'd kinda like to hear it again.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 28 April 2005 00:57 (twenty years ago)

i've been digging the latest by et sans and the coughs is cool... also digging the faust tapes by the faust, but yeah, that ain't new either.

i guess my original reason for the thread was a lack of magic for me on the music frontier, and mostly that's cause i've been in my shed whipping up potions and missing out on the happenings...

HEY STORMZ,
NIGHT LIFE IS JUST TOO SAPPY/R&B FOR ME RIGHT NOW...MY FAV. THIN LIZZY RIGHT NOW IS THUNDER AND LIGHTNING, WHICH SHREDS. SHADES OF BLUE ORPHANAGE HAS BEEN GETTING A LOT OF PLAY TOO. WHICH IS SAPPY, BUT MORE FOLK STYLE...I KNOW, MAKE SENSE, I DO NOT. IM SURE ILL MAKE MY WAY BACK TO NIGHT LIFE.

THE LEEWAY IS AWESOME...IT'S NOT HALF AS MEAT HEADY AS THOSE OTHER EARLY NYC THRASH/HC BANDS, BUT STILL PRETTY SILLY AT POINTS....THE OPENING RIFF TO RISE AND FALL IS COLOSSAL.

ASTORIA REPRESENT.

XP
HEY DREW...I AM SIKED FOR THAT PSYCHIC PARAMOUNT RECCORD...I HAVE THE LIVE CD-R AND IT HAS GOT SOME JAMAGE ON IT. IS IT OUT YET?
