THE JAMES DEAN OF THE OLD TESTAMENT (ex machina), Saturday, 25 June 2005 17:50 (twenty years ago)

mellotron violin trio
mellotron flute
korg lambda string machine 1/strings 2/chorus 3/organ
choir sound I made myself by signing "aaah" into a microphone
choir sounds 1/classical-style "aah" 2/pop style "aah" 3/ pop-style "ooh" from really old korg sample CD
roland vp330 vocoder plus
gregorian monks singing "aah", "oh" and "mmm"
choir of nuns from khazakstan singing "aah", "oh" and "mmm"
various medieval/early stringed instruments from sample cd called "early patches", which is very good.
various rhodes and wurlitzer electric pianos.
hohner clavinet
mustisampled waveforms from rhodes chroma synthesiser that I keep meaning to make into "proper" sounds but haven't yet
complete set of waveforms from roland r8 drum machine as well as complete sets of sounds from pcm cards "ethnic percussion", "contemporary percussion", "electronic", "dry" and "jazz". (can stick these onto a CD-rom and forward if necc.)
sound called "harpsiflute" from Christoph Franke "Sonic Images" sample CD which is very nice, but which makes everything you play sound like late '80's tangerine dream.
some other stuff that I can't remember now.

Looking for:
moog polymoog waveforms
rmi KC2 waveforms
Casio CT202 waveforms
better set of VP330 waveforms.
mcgill university sample CDs

The electric piano and clavinet samples are from a sample CD I bought last month in a blowout from thomann musikhaus, the disc is called "magnetica", and it cost s.th. like 12 uk pounds. it is fucking great.
