Now look, I'm not sure quite how much attention you were paying on those ILB threads but look, multiple people were:

(a) in a state of mind not conducive to message board discourse
(b) harassing someone who probably wasn't in the best state of mind of being harassed
(c) deleting posts, locking people out of threads, going way overboard all in the name of completely irrelevant, unrelated drama... and all the while a really good baseball game was being played.

that was one of the first times i had to activelymoderate that board and it was a mess. I ended up banning Kerry from the board (even though I enjoyed her CWS posts), everything seems back to normal.

Now here we are a week later, and you are cutting and pasting and replacing a couple of words from some dumb message I wrote (just as I could easily cut and paste from some dumb message you wrote) and it will just seem oh so funny but seriously, that was some pretty fucked up behavior on that thread and if I'm a dick/cock for pointing that out, so be it.

Uh, that's a mischaracterization of what I said. I always knew Ethan was a smart cookie and a good writer: my pleasant surprise has to do with the breadth of his knowledge and opinions on politics and literature, which I must've missed in the two years or so I mostly saw him post about rap and other strains of pop culture.
