Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 03:30 (twenty years ago)

Stormy Davis (diamond), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 03:30 (twenty years ago)

AC rules. In moderation. I used to be one of those "anti-AC guys".

Stormy Davis (diamond), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 03:32 (twenty years ago)

Not an option in the place I live in (top floor loft in a shitty warehouse building)

Hurting (Hurting), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 03:44 (twenty years ago)

i was anti-ac until i realized I LIVE IN AN ATTIC.
i'm glad a friend gave me one or i probably would have expired by now.

tehresa (tehresa), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 11:58 (twenty years ago)

94 today.
should i eat acid or will the heat make me have a miserable experience?

Ian John50n (orion), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 15:57 (twenty years ago)

No do it, when you are tripping you can't really tell if it's hot or cold anyway.

Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 15:58 (twenty years ago)

that's not true.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:00 (twenty years ago)

Dose, go swimming.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:05 (twenty years ago)

Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:13 (twenty years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:15 (twenty years ago)

No

Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:15 (twenty years ago)

it's fun.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:17 (twenty years ago)

YES!!!! I was inside most of the time though. I painted my guitar all blackliteriffic with WOOLITE and coated the strings with GLOWING PASTEL CRAYON WAX and it was all glowy and we played San Francisco Rush for six-hour stints trying to see how high in the air we could jump a Volkswagon bus and this dude Austin broke our friend Amanda's lava lamp like a tool and walking in the snow & ice at night was like being on another PLANET!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:18 (twenty years ago)

ddb = the anti a/c

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:20 (twenty years ago)

England (or at least, London) doesn't have snowstorms.

Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:23 (twenty years ago)

the wife was in Las Vegas this weekend. it was 113

i went to the burbs and swam in a 97 degree pool and drank a lot of beer. it was sweetness.

The Amazing Jaxon! (jaxon), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:44 (twenty years ago)

The Amazing Jaxon! (jaxon), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:44 (twenty years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 16:50 (twenty years ago)

it's so hot + humid outside it's like living in an underwater volcano. fuck a summer.

Tinman: Set to Self-Destruct (cprek), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 17:15 (twenty years ago)

i'm going to go outside and throw rocks at the sun.

Tinman: Set to Self-Destruct (cprek), Wednesday, 20 July 2005 17:16 (twenty years ago)

It's hotter in my apartment than it is outside, but I'm used to it after four summers here.

I want to get a temp and humidity detector so I can monitor this shit.

30 Bangin' Tunes That You've Already Got ... IN A DIFFERENT ORDER! (Barry Brune, Wednesday, 20 July 2005 17:16 (twenty years ago)

My parents offered to give me air conditioners, but I will feel like I am selling out. I do have a spray bottle i fall asleep with in my hand that I spray myself in the middle of the night with. It is ghetto.

h0t h0t h0rsey (Carey), Thursday, 21 July 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

I think three days of a/c with no fresh air made me sick. That said, working in a store with no a/c make me sick, too.

But hot sticky weather = sweaty hottt UPS guy with his top shirt buttons undone = K-ROWR!!!!!!!

tokyo nursery school: afternoon session (rosemary), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:06 (twenty years ago)

I have not had a/c since my jr. year of college. I am trying to hold out until I have to go to the retirement home.

h0t h0t h0rsey (Carey), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:13 (twenty years ago)

my farmers tan/redneck looks ridiculous. i hate being cracker.

p.s. - anti-a.c. people: you make no sense and your chosen suffering amuses me!

Ô¿Ô (eman), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:18 (twenty years ago)

Dr. Glen Y. Abreu (dr g), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:21 (twenty years ago)

cavemen didn't need air conditioning. it's for the obese. a little sweat never killed no one.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:43 (twenty years ago)

cavemen didn't need a lot of things. your point? do you go w/ out heat in the winter becuz it's for the anorexic?

Ô¿Ô (eman), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:46 (twenty years ago)

Current weather for Roch. NY
79°F
Mostly Cloudy
Wind: N at 0 mph
Humidity: 47%

Ô¿Ô (eman), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:52 (twenty years ago)

eman do you live in Rochester?

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:56 (twenty years ago)

i'm in tennessee. i have to bring a sweater wherever i go because it's fucking cold inside

caitlin oh no (caitxa1), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:58 (twenty years ago)

that was a xpost

caitlin oh no (caitxa1), Thursday, 21 July 2005 01:59 (twenty years ago)

no i thought that's where caitlin was. don't you go to school there w/ jon or something? i so confused.

Ô¿Ô (eman), Thursday, 21 July 2005 02:11 (twenty years ago)

what's a hairshirt?

Ô¿Ô (eman), Thursday, 21 July 2005 02:13 (twenty years ago)

ac overkill = bad, and for teh fatteys

sweating buckets while lying perfectly still in bed in poorly ventilated hotbox 3rd floor apartment and losing sleep = also bad

Ô¿Ô (eman), Thursday, 21 July 2005 02:20 (twenty years ago)

ok ok ok
yeah i go to school in roch but not w/jon, different school

caitlin oh no (caitxa1), Thursday, 21 July 2005 02:29 (twenty years ago)

oh ok, eman, I misunderstood. No, I'm not in Rochester either but my parents are from there.

"hairshirt" is a bad R.E.M. song.

yeah, I mean as far as I'm concerned, getting a good night's sleep pretty much trumps any lingering environmental or he-man bravery concerns I might have.

Last question: are you groovin?

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 21 July 2005 02:30 (twenty years ago)

rochester alternates hot and cold summers.
last summer = rainy and 70s all the time.
this summer = 90s and humid all the time.
there is no winning with this town.

tehresa (tehresa), Thursday, 21 July 2005 02:34 (twenty years ago)

xpost - yes, with the castor bunch
