Pitchfork: Do you listen to noise?
Adams: Yeah, we asked them to open, and I think they were gonna. But they were in the studio. And we were thinking about Ð have you heard this great band called Boris?
Pitchfork: No.
Adams: Oh my God, it's this Japanese guitar player that plays a bass/electric guitar combo. And it's super fucked up, like math-rock, thrash, something. And there's another band, Oneida, from Brooklyn. There are a few good noise bands out there.
Pitchfork: Do you like Wolf Eyes?
Adams: Oh yeah, fuck, Wolf Eyes! Didn't someone just die from that band?
Pitchfork: I don't think so. Do you mean Guitar Wolf?
Adams: They did a record on Ecstatic Peace, right? Thurston's label? I mean, they're pretty severe.
Pitchfork: Yeah, but they're on Sub Pop now.
Adams: Are they?
Pitchfork: Yeah, for one record, at least. People either love it or hate it.
Adams: I like that Lightning Bolt is just two guys. It doesn't sound like two guys!
Pitchfork: Right. They make a lot of noise.

He's got a great voice, I love Whiskeytown's cover of "A Song For You". Thankfully, that's about all I know about him.
