they are a much more interesting band from a music standpoint. n1ck is a god, he has drummed for jandek, the other dude who was in TEETHE moved from SF to join them, his style is pretty odd.
I do like B&S though, haven't listened to them in a while but they get a bad rap. I have far worse guilty pleasures (I listen to Bob Marley Legend every single day).
