i was going to go to the smell tonight based on your recommendation steve but then i heard the new songs on that website and it sounded really bad belle and seb twee shit.

howell huser (chaki), Sunday, 15 January 2006 01:21 (twenty years ago)

hmmm...? maybe the vox?

they are a much more interesting band from a music standpoint. n1ck is a god, he has drummed for jandek, the other dude who was in TEETHE moved from SF to join them, his style is pretty odd.

I do like B&S though, haven't listened to them in a while but they get a bad rap. I have far worse guilty pleasures (I listen to Bob Marley Legend every single day).

That's totally cool bro, but I think I'm gonna buy the Weird Weeds CD instead, dude.

No hard feelings. I mean, all the cool people on myspace can not stop podcasting The Weird Weeds. Pitchforkmedia called The Weird Weeds "possibly the next Arcade Fire of February 2006". Matthew "Flux" Perpetua called The Weird Weeds "the wholesale embodiment of Joycore". Chaki called The Weird Weeds a "seb tee-shirt".
