Apparently it's something like Keva = mother, so Kevin = mother's or your mother's, and cost = bone, so costner is like the guy that cracks the bones, which is what they call the chiropractor.

I believe "ben" is more technical, like saying "feces," if that makes your friend feel any better. A better way to say shit would be "kuso."
