the amount of sugar used makes no sense as fruit is naturally sweet. high fructose corn syrup will be the death of us all

vitamin water is pretty good. gatorade is just weird

― amon (eman), Sunday, 14 August 2005 00:11 (twenty-one years ago)

propel isn't as good as vitamin water, but it's usually like 29 cents cheaper. which, if you rely on these types of beverages to get you through hot summers, makes a difference.

― huell howser (chaki), Sunday, 14 August 2005 01:35 (twenty-one years ago)

my sister drinks the 50 cent kind, but she's disgusting anyway

― caitlin oh no (caitxa1), Sunday, 14 August 2005 01:51 (twenty-one years ago)

do they still make fruit water? there was a gingery lemon one that was great!

gatorade is gross becuase you have to suffer through the strange mountain dewish flavor but don't get any of that sweet, sweet caffeine.

GYGAX:

Though rooted in Japan, ITO EN has also taken an international outlook. Since the 1980s, subsidiaries have been established in Hawaii, China, Australia, and the continental United Stated. Firmly positioned as the world's leading producer of green tea products, ITO EN is on the verge of making green tea a part of global culture.

― JAXON (jaxon), Thursday, 1 September 2005 17:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Though rooted in San Francisco, GYGAX has also taken an international outlook. Since the 1940s, subsidiaries have been established in Japan, the Noize Board and the continental United States. Firmly positioned as the world's leading producer of references to Japanese culture, GYGAX is on the verge of making Japanese culture a part of global culture.

man, gatorade tastes fucking sick.

vitamin water isnt much better, but it does taste "OKAY"

i base my beverage drinking on one fact: HOW FAST I CAN DRINK SOMETHING WHEN I'M FUCKING STONED.

TS: NAKED JUICE VS. ODWALLA

I VOTE THE FORMER

― m[ad(a)m]an (UL®) (blastocyst), Tuesday, 21 March 2006 23:16 (twenty years ago)

How we got the name

The musical piece entitled "Illistrum", composed by Malachi Favors, and performed by The Art Ensemble of Chicago. ("Fanfare for the Warriors" Atlantic SD 1651, April 1974), was the founder’s inspiration. They adopted the name of the poem's hero because they felt that the story was symbolic of the company's mission. Odwallians believe that with vibrant flavor and nourishing essence, their juices can help create a clearing in the grey haze of lifeless, over-processed foods often consumed in our culture.

There was an indie chick at my school who was nicknamed Izze in honor of the carbonated drink (she saved Izze bottlecaps and used them to decorate her bookbag). She was very, very hawt & very, very smug...I have no idea what I'm getting at here.
