HI ANDREW!
Here's a little blast of noise from yours truly, and if that whets your appetite I've been told Kevin Drumm's "Sheer Hellish Miasma" will hit the spot in a similar way.

Also do you already have Boredoms, Wolf Eyes & Lightning Bolt? These are some very basic Noise Dude prereqs.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 07:33 (twenty-one years ago)

No I don't but now I'll have to track some down.

Andrew (enneff), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 10:19 (twenty-one years ago)

ps: I think your noise is pretty interesting. Kinda reminds me of something ridiculously self-indulgent I once made:

I suggest Dead Machines (forthcoming LP on Eclipse should be killer; CDrs and Tapes available through various distros now, such as Eclipse and RRR.)

Ian c=====8 (orion), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 15:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Dear Aaron,

have you heard and do you like SHM?

thorHmono (Thor), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 16:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Dead Machines are John Olsen of Wolf Eyes & Tovah O'Rourke of Polyamory/Wooden Wand/Golden Calves fame. Delayed/fucked up horns, gritty drones, spooky oscillations and an overall atmosphere of looming fear.

Ian c=====8 (orion), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 16:17 (twenty-one years ago)

have you heard and do you like SHM?

nah, who's that? Does it sound like "Boiled Rabbits"?

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 16:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Andrew-
I downloaded "Fucked" and thought it was pretty awesome. Sounds like some amount of effort was put into it, as opposed to "Boiled Rabbits" into which I put roughly the amount of effort it takes for me to pick my nose. I'd like to hear more of you stuff.

AaronHz (AaronHz), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 17:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanks for the feedback! (no pun itended there) I can't remember how long it took me to knock that out, as it's at least 2 years old. It was largely improvised, though.

Andrew (enneff), Thursday, 12 August 2004 06:30 (twenty-one years ago)

And yeah, as long as there are noize dudez around to appreciate it I'll be writing noise stuff. I started working on a new piece last night.

Andrew (enneff), Thursday, 12 August 2004 06:30 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm just a cook".

Haven't heard new Mouthus yet, but I concur on the Dead Machines LP; killer psycho jams.

there's some live Okan stuff. more messy than noise... but i kinda like it. one person forms a to live and shave in la tribute band and another forms a suicide tribute band... and they get together and play technotronic tunes naked, backwards, and out of sync.
