its an excerpt from a ariel pink write up. not a review per se, willfully heliotropic ad copy. it boggled my mind how many were annoyed by my write-ups then. sort of fanned the fire i guess. and the editor was into it. and ariel.

eventually i went "straight," then retired.

but maybe i'll return by popular demand some day. the interpol one and the liars one caused a fair amount of distress i seem to recall...they were the "hits"

the irony was mostly lost on us cos every now cos some were well written or even poetic. I seem to remember a Black Dice ep, something about a ship hitting land being OTM.
