Amen. Do you remember the episode where they spoofed a bunch of Nintendo games? That was awesome.

me and my brother fuckin worshipped the muppet babies. we were really disappointed when we couldn't use our 'imagination' to mke our dinosaur books come alive.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Monday, 3 October 2005 06:04 (twenty years ago)

I was at the age where I was probably a little too old to be watching the muppet babies and not be laughed at by my peers.

In other words:

"When I were a lad, muppet babies were all made of WOOD and you could only hike up a huge mountain to see them. You HAD IT GOOD"

400% Nice (nordicskilla), Friday, 7 October 2005 16:31 (twenty years ago)

the muppet show predated muppet babies, dudes.

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 7 October 2005 16:35 (twenty years ago)

400% Nice (nordicskilla), Friday, 7 October 2005 16:37 (twenty years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 7 October 2005 16:39 (twenty years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 7 October 2005 19:50 (twenty years ago)

THE THING IS -- NICKELODEON AIRED BOTH MUPPET BABIES AND THE MUPPET SHOW, AND ONLY A FEW HOURS APART IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY! AND THOSE MUPPETS WERE A BIT DATED, NOT TO MENTION THEIR GUESTS!!! MARK HAMILL!!

PHOIOEI (blastocyst), Friday, 7 October 2005 19:54 (twenty years ago)

ALSO, ANYONE WITH 2 BRAIN CELLS CAN FIGURE OUT THEY CAME SECOND. NEXT YOU'LL BE SAYING THAT WE THINK THAT THE "REAL GHOSTBUSTERS" CARTOON PRECEDED THE MOVIE. ID TEN TEE

Jonothong Williamsmang (ex machina), Friday, 7 October 2005 19:56 (twenty years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 7 October 2005 19:57 (twenty years ago)

Jonothong Williamsmang (ex machina), Friday, 7 October 2005 20:15 (twenty years ago)

SO IM GONNA WHINE ON U CRAZY DIAMONDS.

ddb (ddb), Friday, 7 October 2005 20:17 (twenty years ago)

Man, those 80s cartoons were so influential. Remember that show about the Bigfoot monster truck and then somebody made an actual monster truck named bigfoot and crushed a bunch of cars with it!? Pretty soon there were guys dresssing up as the characters Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper and acting out scenes from the cartoon in big arenas! They even made the awesome Teen Wolf cartoon into a crappy movie with Alex from Family Ties.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Friday, 7 October 2005 20:19 (twenty years ago)

Teen Wolf had Michael J Fox I'm pretty sure.

PHOIOEI (blastocyst), Friday, 7 October 2005 20:20 (twenty years ago)

HAHA OK

PHOIOEI (blastocyst), Friday, 7 October 2005 20:21 (twenty years ago)

dude jon you whine about bushwick way more... but i prolly would too if i had a crackhead neighbor!!!!

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 7 October 2005 20:59 (twenty years ago)

I don't whine about the crackhead, but that's probably because I was smart enough not to become BFF with her the in first few weeks and start lending her money.

Laura H. (laurah), Friday, 7 October 2005 21:05 (twenty years ago)

but you're bff with the roaches, right?

In MuppetZine issue 3 (1993), Muppet Babies storyboard director Scott Shaw wrote: "As for the adult Skeeter, Henson Associates art director Michael Frith once explained that she's now a famous explorer, never seen again after an expedition to the jungles of the Amazon!"
