No Phil, his name is Zack -- he and a guy named Cameron do an '80s new-wave night alt-Saturdays at Metropolitan. It's fun -- they always have a TV hooked up, playing Siouxsie videos, Ladies And Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains etc.

I like the feel of it...the wood...and the secret feeling of the door but not front and the skinny passageway to the bar. There was no dj set up I could see.

yup. we were on a free food mission that night, i think. pizza at alligator then i think carey said that metropolitan had pbj sandwiches, which they didn't (but they did have supercheap pbrs).
