capones, me and jeremy campbell djing all night. email your name to guestlist@alldisco.net and if there's space we put you on the free guestlist, if not you get put on the 5 dollar guestlist, which is pretty cheap for a new years party. Free champagne, maybe some other free booze, free music, free pizza etc. We're mostly charging so that random annoying people won't want to pay to get in, but all our internet friends will have rsvp'd to begin with. But yeah, nothing special, no music theme or special famous djs or anything, just 6 or so hours of us playing all kinds of records.

yeah. i usually work the sat. night shift, and usually it's nice and quiet and i don't mind it much. but just going to work that night is going to be a pain in the ass, and trying to get out of the area when the shift ends at midnight is really going to suck. i'll probably just hide in the office until 1:30 or so, drinking cheap champagne and watching old movies on cable. happy new year. blurg.

jeremy's handling the guest list stuff, I'll ask him about it today, I think we're basically taking all the names and throwing them on a big list first come first serve and I'm pushing to just let anyone on the list in for free, I'll let you know the deal later. If we can't work it with the bar, it'll be 5 dollars, which is still 10 dollars cheaper then any other party, and Jeremy and I are DJing and we are much better djs then Rex the Ordinary Monkey or Juan B. Clean or whatever.

christ i just walked thru times square to get to work and it's ALREADY completely out of control. i had to skirt one street fight by the espnzone (some lady taking after some other lady while two cops tried without much success to keep them apart), and i finally gave up walking on the sidewalks altogether because it was hopeless. gah. i don't even know how i'm going to get to the building tomorrow.
