jodi is classic NET-ART.

used to be on the 7-11 list with her/it/them. (turned out that it was a them.)

antiorp was on that list too... different person i think. (one nevers knows with the interwarb.)

antiorp could actually be sort of an asshole. i can remember tryin9 to ar9ue with her. note: trying to. it was a little hard to get through her text sometimes. she used to tell me to get lost bubblegum amerikkkan kapitalist etcetars. this mostly just cause i was a) american. not because i said anything particularly stupid. i think it was a persona perhaps. or maybe she was just being a hater.

still, brilliant shit. definitely brain expanding.

Antiorp had some fucking reach, though. I was on a mailing list that she wasn't even on that got shut down for a week, because of a massive flamewar about wether or not she should have been banned from a totally different list!

No, it was a synthesiser list.

She was all over the place at one point, I think the Kurzweil k2000 list got fucked over by her as well. You'r aware of her various identities? "integer" "=cw4t7abs" "netochka nezvanova". There used to be a couple of sites where you could input text, and have it translated into antiorp-ese. Sean C did me a copy of her/their album. Fucking hell it's extreme.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 29 December 2005 16:22 (twenty years ago)

"integer" and "=cw4t7abs" were the ones i'm familiar with. n.n. is after i stopped paying attention to that scene somewhat.

i can only hear NET ART IS DEAD so many times before quitting the net art lists i was on.

people love obituaries. trendpopping.

oh, i got one:

declaring art forms are dead IS DEAD!
