Is that Air Miami.

i'm kidding, I know Mark Robinson designed that. I like it but it looks more Teen Beat then Family Fodder!

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Thursday, 16 February 2006 03:55 (nineteen years ago)

god I need to get that CD back from my buddy who borrowed it TWO YEARS ago, grrrr

I didn't know Robinson did that cover.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 16 February 2006 04:02 (nineteen years ago)

yeah...and it was released by ILX's very own Douglas W0lk, or onetime ILXor. Great CD. Cold Wars was one of my most-listened to songs for like 3 years after that CD came out.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Thursday, 16 February 2006 04:45 (nineteen years ago)

douglas wolk is still on ILC.

Special Agent Gene Krupa (orion), Thursday, 16 February 2006 04:51 (nineteen years ago)

oh yeah .. I knew Douglas did it. haha... oh in FACT, now that I think about it, the aforementioned buddy of mine who "borrowed" it over two years ago, actually DJ'd with Douglas at WHRB back in the day..

Stormy Davis (diamond), Thursday, 16 February 2006 04:59 (nineteen years ago)

WHRB's tentacles have great reach...I went to college with Steve Burt's younger brother and Michael Train is one of my prime music resources. I actually contributed to a few of their "orgies", for their No Wave orgy, I sent them Theoretical Girl selections a year or two before the CD actually came out, and a ton more stuff.

Disney's finishing up a deal to make a live-action (they want to use a real dog with a few CGI improvements) "Underdog" movie, with Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber, Jonathan Glickman and Jay Polstein onboard to produce the flick.

Producer Barber told Variety, "Anything where you have a dog in that superhero context, that's appealing on a global basis. Those films do very well, and there's no better brand than Disney for this kind of movie."

The TV series ran throughout the 1960s and early 70s and featured a mild-mannered beagle who would transform into Underdog, a canine superhero.

Filming is expected to begin in January. There's no word yet on a director or the furry star.

Drew Daniel (Drew Daniel), Thursday, 16 February 2006 17:50 (nineteen years ago)

I want to see the Herculoids, and the kids who rode around on space bikes. What was that called? Those were my faves.

There's an entire set, all 17 episodes. I WISH there were photos of my halloween costume from 4 or so years ago when I was Number 6. I even DJ'd in the outfit. Like, ONE dude got the costume.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Thursday, 16 February 2006 21:21 (nineteen years ago)
