canadian's 2nd run - (payne/pain) was pretty wild. commentator shouted Holy Mackarel while he was bouncing from side to side. i hope skeleton remains an olympic sport forever.

then there was ice dancing and snowboard cross. snowboard cross is worthless. actually, any sports introduced to the olympics specifically to draw america's xtreme audience should be deleted from the program.

it was great to see swiss win in women's snowboard cross tho'.

agreed. i got into an actual argument about this at a show last night. then i got drunker and notekillers' set started. these sports are only xtreme to viewers who forget that people were killed in luge and bobsled runs not that long ago.

did anyone else notice that one commentator mistakenly said that the woman who crashed out of the course in the women's snowboard cross final won bronze? she was taken away on a stretcher! (that part was pretty xtreme.)
