following the above, I just quickly looked at some blogs, and in response to The Modern Age's post about the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show, we get this awesome post:

I am only 16, but in my 16 years I have seen music advance so much, and I think this (above) is a good example of how music has bloomed over the years. There isnÕt only one type of music now that people listen to, but a whole range of music. I think I can be an example of how versitile people are with music. In my CD collection I have a fusion of music from Beyonce, Maddona, The killers and Linkin park, what a verity of flavours! I hope music is always as good! Please donÕt go back to the 80Õs and 90Õs music people!

Meet some of the cream of the blogger crop and listen to how their work is shaping the whole industry, what the secret to making a great blog is, where this trend is going, and if they all really do lead the jetset lifestyle (as if...)."

okay, now i'm in roffleland.

everyone should go to WFMU and watch those.. i bought a coupla overpriced Gimme Gimme Octopus VHS bootlegs on eBay four years ago -- bizarre costumed characters, insane sound effects and barely liminal graphic flash frames, sort of a precursor to todays epilepsy inducing japanese cartoons, but filmed on a soundstage.

gritty sanskrit (sanskrit), Friday, 17 March 2006 17:21 (nineteen years ago)

I am a guy with a belly button piercing. My alpha male friends obviously talk shit about it. One in particular. So, sometimes when we go drinking, we take a survey and try to find out if any girls would think a navel ring on a guy could be sexy (so far the score on my side is "0").
Last time, this girl asked to see it and she was like, "that isn't bad! that ain't bad at all! I don't think it's gay." and I said, "so, would you fuck me? would you? fuck me?" she said no.

and that is the most upfront sexual proposition i have made.
